Dismantling the Shock AbsorbersClamp the lower eye of the suspension unit in a vice. Press down the protective sleeve (8) and take out the two supporting ring halves (1). Now the parts (8), (9) and (11) can be removed. Unscrew the threaded sealing ring (4) using the special tool or a suitable peg spanner and remove damping rod/valves. All parts must be thoroughly cleaned before reassembly, Refill with shock absorber oil (ATF). ATF = Automatic Transmission Fluid. Shock Absorber MarkingsMarking is arranged above lower eye
